The EVO karts and one DD2 took to the track with Matt Cresci taking the pole ahead of Jimmy Casey and Gino Gigliotti. In the first heat, Cresci had his hands full with strong pressure from Casey and Marcos Ramirez. Making no mistakes Cresci took the win, Ramirez 2nd and Casey 3rd. Sadly in the second heat, Cresci was not able to take the start which turned the race over to Ramirez and Casey to battle for the lead. Ramirez took the win, Casey 2nd and Richard Hilleman 3rd with the lone DD2 of Andrew Colombini coming home 4th.
In the Main Ramirez took the initial lead with Casey, Hilleman and Cresci right behind. Cresci worked his way to the front but had manage his power in a way to avoid over using his batteries. At the end of the race, Cresci got by Casey to take the win, Casey 2nd, Ramirez 3rd and Hilleman 4th. The fast DD2 of Colombini retired from the race on lap 7. The top three in the EVO class were awarded Sanzaru Bucks of $100/$50/$25.
